Today, St. Matthew staff and students wore orange to remember the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, to honour those affected by Residential Schools and their descendants. Additionally, out of deep respect for Indigenous Peoples, we lowered both the Canadian and the ‘Every Child Matters’ flag to reflect on the intergenerational harm caused by the residential school systems.
