At St. Joseph's Morrow Park (SJMP) Catholic Secondary School, we believe in developing our students academically to their highest potential, and also in providing them with opportunities to have a fun and fulfilling student life outside of their classes. We offer a diverse range of co-curricular opportunities that our students can participate in.
We offer a variety of athletic opportunities at SJMP, and our athletes have distinguished themselves in the Toronto District Catholic Athletic Association (TDCAA) competitions.
Our athletes are respectful towards other players and understand that they have to get along with others in order to properly work as a team. This positive mindset shows itself in our many sports accolades. Above all, our students have fun, and learn to support each other and grow together.
Different sports take place at different points in the school year:
Fall: Field hockey, basketball, cross country, tennis, and co-ed ultimate frisbee.
Winter: Table tennis, volleyball, badminton, and swimming.
Spring: Soccer, softball, track and field, and girls ultimate frisbee.
SJMP boasts a strong intramural program in which all students can participate. It is a great way for students to make new friends and increase their physical activity during the day.
