Holy Week is an important time for students and staff at St. Elizabeth Catholic School. This year, the school is offering students a powerful and immersive experience on Holy Week through its newly launched “Lenten Walk.” In place of the traditional Stations of the Cross, the school has created an interactive reflective journey showcasing still-life representations of Jesus’ life—from His birth to His Resurrection.
Located in the school library, the Lenten Walk features eleven thoughtfully curated scenes, each designed and displayed by a different class. These displays serve as visual and tangible interpretations of key moments in Jesus’ life, guiding students and staff through the themes of the Lenten season in a deeply meaningful way.
Over the course of two days, classes will take turns visiting the Lenten Walk, using the time to engage in conversation, prayer, and reflection. The interactive format invites students to connect more personally with their faith and the biblical teachings of Christ’s love and sacrifice for all of us.
This unique initiative exemplifies how St. Elizabeth continues to nurture the spiritual growth of students by encouraging creative expression and community collaboration during the most sacred time of the Catholic calendar.
