The St. Barnabas Community celebrated its 50th anniversary this year. Our event included a Mass celebrated by Father Hansoo and a reception. We honored our 50th anniversary with a performance by Wendy Jones and her gospel group, Mr. Zaw Tun and his intermediate instrumental band, as well as the opening of our time capsule by former principal Ms. Jenkinson.
Mr. Novis (Principal) and the 50th Anniversary Committee (Ms. Richardson, Ms. Ross, Ms. Capone, Mr. Nabzdyk, Ms. Peaker, Ms. Rosos, and Fr. Hansoo) worked in collaboration with our parish to create a wonderful celebration where our entire community had an opportunity to connect with one another across generations. Past principals, alumni, and present students were able to feel a sense of belonging, pride, and the strength of our faith as we celebrated together. Special mention goes to our administrative assistant Ms. Rosos for her coordination and support of our anniversary.
