Students at James Cardinal McGuigan Catholic High School gathered on Tuesday for an exciting day of creativity, innovation, and problem-solving as they competed in the highly anticipated STEAM Olympics. This annual event, which brings together Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), saw participants from Grade 9 showcase their talents in a variety of challenging competitions that pushed their skills to the limit.
The day was filled with hands-on activities, with each team tasked to solve real-world problems using a multidisciplinary approach. From designing a catapult launch, to math relay race, a balloon tower challenge and paper airplane accuracy throw, students embraced the spirit of collaboration and ingenuity.
