James Cardinal McGuigan Catholic High School participated in the 2023 Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Track and Field Championships in Ottawa this past weekend. The school with no track won 6 medals and also its first ever OFSAA Championship Title. McGuigan were the only Toronto school to come home with a banner and our boys participated so well that we finished as the 2nd best overall team in the province!

- Alicke C., for winning a Gold Medal in Senior Boys 100 Metre (He went viral on tiktok because of how fast he ran!)
- Egohsa E., for winning a Gold Medal in Novice Boys Shot Put and a Gold Medal in Novice Boys Discus
- Adnal O., for winning a Bronze Medal in Novice Boys Shot Put
- Harmony O., for winning a Bronze Medal in Novice Boys Triple Jump and a Bronze Medal in Novice Boys High Jump
- Brian O., for getting 7th Place in Junior Boys High Jump and 12th Place in Junior Boys Triple Jump
- Divine O., for getting 7th Place in Novice Girls High Jump
- Daniela O., for getting 18th in the province in Novice Girls Shot Put
- Mishaila O., for getting 20th in the province in Novice Girls 300 Metre Hurdles
- Cynthia O., for getting 12th in the province in Novice Girls Triple Jump and 24th in the province in Novice Girls 300 Metre Hurdles (She got hurt and shut it down. Unfortunately, her injury prevented her from performing well in the Triple Jump.)
