The Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School girls basketball team and the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) Women’s Basketball team squared off in a friendly basketball game at Father Henry Carr.
The event, which had over 200 spectators in attendance, was aimed at continuing to strengthen and build on the positive community relationship between students and the TTC. In addition, it was also to further build and raise awareness to safety when travelling on the TTC. The Father Henry Carr cheer team and other community members were in attendance.
The TTC also contributed to the school nutrition program, donating several items that can be used to further enhance Father Henry Carr’s nutrition program in the morning for its students.
