Father Henry Carr Secondary School (FHC) graduate Kimani Stewart-Baynes (Class of 2023) has been drafted in the first round by the Colorado Rapids as part of the MLSE (Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment) draft. His journey to professional soccer is a testament to his dedication and the strong foundation he built during his years at FHC and St. Francis De Sales Catholic School (2019).

A key player on the FHC soccer team, Kimani was instrumental in leading the squad to victory in the 2022 TDCAA (Toronto District Catholic Athletic Association) Soccer Championship, earning them a place in the OFSAA (Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations) AA Provincial Championship.

Kimani often visits FHC, where he inspires current students by sharing his experiences and reflecting on how his time at the school shaped his journey both on and off the field.

His accomplishments serve as a proud reminder of the talent and resilience nurtured within the FHC community.
