Father Henry Carr Secondary School is thrilled to announce the opening of its newly designed Learning Commons, a cutting-edge space dedicated to supporting student learning and achievement.

The vibrant facility, unveiled during the school’s 50th Anniversary Celebration and blessed by Father David Katulski, provides a modern, university-style environment for up to 125 students. Open all day, it offers a quiet and secure space equipped with soft and hard seating, low and high-top tables, and updated amenities, including wireless desktop computers, advanced lighting, and a laser projector with a 10-by-10 screen and full sound system.

Designed by Franca Greto of the renowned Office Shop, the Learning Commons features Father Henry Carr’s signature colors—red, white, blue, and yellow—and proudly incorporates the school’s logo and motto, “Teach Me Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge.”

A highlight of the space is a private boardroom for the student council and other student-led committees, promoting collaboration and leadership.

The new Learning Commons reflects Father Henry Carr’s commitment to fostering a dynamic and innovative learning environment for its students.
