Josh Morgan, a 2020 grad of Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School has just been named to the 2023-2024 Southland Conference First-Team All-Academic Team... for the third year in a row!

Josh recently graduated Cum Laude from the University of Incarnate Word, with a BA in Criminal Justice and concentration in Pre-Law. He was the leader and Captain of our prep basketball teams from 2017 to 2020. A tremendous player, Josh was able to balance his academic workload with the intense schedule of our prep basketball program. Fittingly, Josh was awarded the Teresa D'Antonio Award in 2019, which symbolizes "Courage, commitment and a genuine passion for athletics".

While on a fully paid scholarship at UIW, Josh garnered the following accolades:

  • 2021-2022 Southland Conference Student-Athlete of the Year

  • 2021-2022 Southland Conference First-Team All-Academic Team

  • 2022-2023 Southland Conference First-Team All-Academic Team

Currently, he has a 3.6 GPA (on a scale out of 4), which is essentially 90%, but that is not yet finalized. With another year of eligibility, Josh will enroll in a Master's Program in Marketing at Stonehill College, and play his final year of inter-collegiate basketball.

Congratulations to another one of Henry Carr's Finest!
