The Father Henry Carr leadership class, led by Mr. C. Yammine, recently orchestrated a series of elementary school tournaments over the past fortnight. This initiative showcased the students' organizational prowess, ranging from scorekeeping to scheduling and refereeing.
With over twenty-four teams descending upon Father Henry Carr from the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB), the 2024 FHC Elementary Crusader Classic unfolded seamlessly. The competitions not only honed the skills of budding athletes but also primed them for the upcoming TCSAA Divisional playoffs.
Furthermore, these events fostered stronger bonds between elementary and secondary institutions within the TCDSB. Notably, St. Francis de Sales and St. Martin de Porres clinched victory in the Girls' tournaments, while St. Dorothy and St. Martin de Porres emerged triumphant in the Boys' division.
