The Endgame Dance Competition FINALS was hosted at Dante Alighieri Academy on June 4, 2024 (Tuesday), welcoming over 300 attendees including 90 dancers from 6 Dance Teams in the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB). This competition showcased the incredible student talent throughout the TCDSB, as West and East finalists from our Knockout round held at St. Patrick’s on May 7 went head-to-head in a dance battle. The night included showcase performances from St. Patrick students, St. Basil’s dance team - Notorious SBC and Kreative In Dance Styles studio as well as raffle prizes and scholarships from Kreative In Dance Styles studio and Studio North Dance Complex.
Endgame Dance Competition saw Madonna, Bishop Marrocco, Dante Alighieri, St. Patrick, Senator O’Connor and Notre Dame compete for the ENDGAME Championship. Congratulations to Coalesce (Dante Alighieri) for winning 1st place on home ground, M-Squad (Madonna) for placing 2nd, and Synergy (Senator O’Connor) for taking 3rd! A special congratulations to The NXT Level (St. Patrick), Xcel (Bishop Marrocco), and Avidity (Notre Dame)! The event was adjudicated by Zahra Badua, Kyle “Kilo” Kass, Martin “Prempz” Prempeh, and Jade Trichilo.
A special thank you to all the teams that competed, their team moderators/teachers, family and friends, our judges, as well as our security and in-house DJ Mr. Adrian DeSousa.
